Dr. Amrut “Dogguru” Hiranya

Dr. Amrut Sridhara Hiranya, widely known as the “Dog Guru,” is a leading canine behaviour specialist and the founder of Amrut Dog Guru Services Pvt. Ltd. With more than a decade of experience in canine behaviour, professional dog training, and working dog development, he has played a significant role in advancing modern dog training practices in India.

In January 2025, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Canine Behaviour & Training by the Global University of Boston in recognition of his contributions to canine behavioural science and professional dog training. He is also India’s only Unitec-certified Canine Behaviourist (New Zealand), known for applying internationally recognized, science-based, and humane training methods.

Dr. Hiranya has worked extensively with law enforcement agencies, defence forces, and pet owners, helping develop disciplined, confident, and emotionally balanced dogs. His expertise also extends to working dogs involved in security operations, tracking, and detection training.

Eshwar Shashi serves as the Program Coordinator at Amrut Dog Guru Services, where he supports canine education programs and dog training initiatives. With more than 25 years of personal experience working with dogs, he brings a strong understanding of dog behaviour, canine care, and responsible pet management.

Based in Bangalore, Eshwar plays a key role in coordinating training sessions, assisting instructors, and ensuring smooth communication between trainers, pet parents, and program participants. His work helps create a structured and supportive learning environment for both children and dog owners.

Passionate about canine education and animal welfare, he continues to deepen his knowledge of dog behaviour and training practices while helping families build positive and responsible relationships with their dogs.
